KARACHI: Radio Pakistan organised a grand All-Pakistan Mushaira titled “Marka-e-Haq Mein Jab Utra Sukhan” in Karachi, paying tribute to the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos and honouring the sacrifices and bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces.

The literary event celebrated patriotism, national unity and the spirit of defending the homeland through powerful poetry delivered by leading poets from across the country.
Renowned poet Sahar Ansari presided over the Mushaira, while Kheal Das Kohistani attended as the chief guest.
The Mushaira was described as a historic and unique event because poets from different parts of Pakistan participated both physically and through digital links, making it one of the country’s first hybrid national Mushairas.
Prominent literary personalities who participated included Iftikhar Arif, Anwar Shaoor, Fatima Hassan, Abbas Tabish, Farhat Abbas Shah and several other poets and writers from across the country.
A large audience attended the event in Karachi and enthusiastically applauded the patriotic verses and literary performances presented during the evening.
The participating poets praised the initiative as an effective way to strengthen the national narrative and express love for Pakistan through literature and poetry.
Addressing the gathering, Minister of State Kheal Das Kohistani paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and praised their response to Indian aggression.
He alleged that India staged the Pulwama attack and said Pakistan’s military responded decisively to enemy actions.
Kohistani further claimed that Pakistan successfully shot down Indian aircraft during the conflict.
Speaking at the concluding session, Saeed Ahmed Sheikh thanked poets, guests and participants for making the event successful.
He said literature and poetry had always served as powerful tools for expressing national sentiments and strengthening unity among the people.
Saeed Ahmed Sheikh added that Attaullah Tarar had specially directed that Karachi host the Mushaira due to its rich literary and cultural heritage.
Officials including Raja Khaleeque uz Zaman Ansari and Erum Tanveer also attended the event along with literary figures and citizens from different walks of life.
