At the Made on YouTube 2024 event in New York, YouTube shared exciting new features to help creators and engage viewers. Here’s what’s new:
- Veo in Dream Screen: Creators can now use Veo, an advanced tool, to make more realistic backgrounds and video clips for Shorts.
- Inspiration Tab Upgrade: The Inspiration tab in YouTube Studio will help creators find and develop ideas, titles, and thumbnails.
- Communities: A new space on channel pages allows creators and fans to share art, ideas, and discuss their favorite videos.
- Community Hub: The updated Community Hub in YouTube Studio makes it easier for creators to connect with their audience, offering AI suggestions for replying to comments.
- Auto Dubbing: Creators will soon be able to automatically add dubbed audio to their videos, making them accessible to more viewers around the world.
- Hype Feature: Viewers can now “hype” their favorite smaller creators to help them gain recognition on a new leaderboard.
- YouTube Shopping Expansion: The affiliate program is growing, allowing more creators to earn through shopping features.
- Gifts via Jewels: This new feature lets viewers support creators during live streams with gifts.
- Enhanced TV Viewing: Creators can organize their videos into seasons and episodes, making it easier for viewers to watch.
