KARACHI – Youth Parliament Pakistan’s Sindh cabinet conducted an Entrepreneurship Empowerment session at CAMS College, Karachi on September 19, 2019.
Ms. Anam Rizvi, Secretary of Entrepreneurship and Mr. Baqir Ali, Deputy Secretary of Entrepreneurship lead the session. Ms. Samiya Hameed (Senior Lecturer at IOBM) and Mr. Rizwan Jaffar (Founder Chairman of Youth Parliament) delivered talks motivating students to consider entrepreneurship instead of conventional careers. The other attendees in the session included Youth Parliament’s President Mr. Paras, Opposition leaders Mr. Salman Shabir and Mr. Haris Sorathiya, and the CEO of Daily The Azb, Mr. Syed Farooq Gilani.
The Entrepreneurship Division of Youth Parliament plans to conduct similar sessions in the future to disseminate knowledge about business startups to the youth of Sindh province and motivate them to think of innovative business ideas that cater to the needs of the society so that they can aspire to become successful entrepreneurs.
