Youth Parliament organized “Young Entrepreneurs Summit YES2.0” on the occasion of 75th Independence Day of Pakistan 14th August 2022 at Marriott Hotel, Karachi. The event was presented by California Builders.
Maj Gen Iftikhar Hassan Chaudry DG Rangers Sindh thanked the organizers of YES 2.0 for the warmly welcome. Addressing to the Youth, he said Youth should initiate their own startups and businesses to seek develop and validate a scalable business. He further added that Youth should begin with small business startups and take the help from the successful entrepreneurs, he later appreciated the participating young entrepreneurs.
Mr.Bilal Talib CEO California Builders briefed about his life experiences, he appreciated the efforts of young entrepreneurs and emphasised the youth that hard work always pays. He also promised for all the possible support from his side to the new startups.
Mr Rizwan Jaffar Founder & Chairman Youth Parliament said: “Modern era is the era of technology. It’s a new era of startups and entrepreneurs. Today we are here to appreciate, acknowledge new startups and encourage youth to take new initiatives for themselves and for the development of country”.
Youth Entrepreneurs Summit 2.0 was a platform for Youth, Entrepreneurs & Business Leaders Meetup. The summit gave a chance to the registered start-ups to share their work, stories, experience and future goals which will result not just in the growth of their businesses but their networking and marketing as well.
YES also provided an opportunity to new startups and entrepreneurs to showcase and promote their work in front of dignitaries from different codes of life including business leaders, stake holders and media. On this occasion a competition was also held in which new startups gave presentation on their ideas. The startups for Pitch It up Competition included Enviro Solutions, IParhai, Ingenuity Solutions, Dastaan Tours, Axease, Dollat, Eatachi and Perwaz.
YES 2.0 was graced by several dignitaries from different walks of life. The jury members included Erum Abbasi and Huma Khan. The Keynote speakers included Nadeem Hussain (Founder and Coach Planet N), Engr Muhammad Talha (Manager IBA Incubation Center).
