Karachi: Provincial leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Minority Affairs, Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani visited the residence of PPP central leader Senator Sherry Rehman to offer condolences on the demise of her young daughter, who passed away after battling cancer.
Political, social and public figures from across the country have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Senator Sherry Rehman’s daughter. During his visit, Dr. Sham Sundar Advani met the bereaved family and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies. He also offered prayers for the departed soul, seeking forgiveness and elevation of her ranks, and prayed for patience and strength for the grieving family.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Advani said that the loss of a young child is an unbearable tragedy and prayed that no parents ever have to endure such grief. He further stated that, in this difficult time, all workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party stand in solidarity with Senator Sherry Rehman and share her sorrow.
