Players and officials from international women’s cricket teams, currently in Pakistan for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, visited the Wagah Border on a special invitation from PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
The athletes witnessed the iconic flag-lowering ceremony and were captivated by the powerful display. Both local and foreign players participated in chanting patriotic slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan,” expressing admiration for the impressive parade by the Punjab Rangers.
The visit included photo sessions, selfies with Rangers personnel, and warm interactions. The international guests described the event as an unforgettable and culturally rich experience, commending the spirit and discipline of the Rangers and the enthusiastic crowd.
As a token of hospitality, Punjab Rangers also presented souvenirs to the team captains.
