Japan: Due to heavy snowfall in the northern and western regions of Japan, the death toll in various accidents has risen to 14.
According to Japanese media reports from Tokyo, 87 people were injured in snow accidents, with 20 centimeters to one meter of snow falling in rural areas of the Niigata region.
There is a blackout in the area due to bad weather and two thousand consumers are without power since the last day.
Officials have instructed people to take precautions and stay at home until Monday.
The northern and western coastal regions of Japan have been experiencing heavy snowfall since December 17.
