Meta-owned popular messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new chat filter feature for its web version, allowing users to organize their chats in more efficient manner.
As per WABetaInfo, the new feature aims to help users create custom lists to filter their chats efficiently. Users will be able to quickly locate specific conversations with friends, family, or other important contacts by setting up personalized chat filters.
The new filter feature will automatically sync all users’ lists or filters, set up on the mobile app, with WhatsApp Web, making sure that users have seamless access to their chats both on desktop or mobile device. The new feature will make it easier to manage and access chats across multiple devices.

This feature will eliminate the need to manually sync lists or recreate them, giving users a uniform and cohesive experience across both platforms.
Moreover, customers who frequently switch between devices or depend on the desktop application during business hours may find this synchronization especially useful.
