Houston, TX: Late Pervez Iqbal conducted the grand wedding ceremony relating to the nuptial of their beloved son Mustafa Iqbal to Hadeel Yassen daughter of Samih Yassen at the Hyatt Regency Houston West 13210 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX.
Elegant wedding of Mustafa Iqbal & Hadeel Yassen, a beautiful blend of Pakistan and Palestine. Pakistanis always held the Palestinian cause engraved in their hearts and souls. A nation too sentimental about Palestine, it was a wonderful event.
The wedding ceremony was attended by the elite of the city, diplomats, besides kith & kin, and the business community including; Dr. Ashraf Abbasi, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, PJ Khan Swati, Haroon Mughal, and others.
The ambiance is a blend of Pakistani-Arab music & loud drums, and great food catered by Tempura. On this occasion, the audience was reminded of the loss of Mustafa Iqbal’s father Pervez Iqbal (RIP) and they played a video of his memoirs, which was quite emotional and moisturized our eyes, especially the G-9 & PCC-USA circle of friends. It was a very enjoyable event, especially the speeches and music part. We wish Mustafa & Hadeel a very healthy, happy, and fruitful matrimonial life ahead.
Pakistanis are so much involved in Palestine that famous Producer Riaz Shahid produced four movies on Palestinian’s struggle for their homeland and exposed the atrocities of Israel. The first film he produced in 1969 was “Zarqa”, its cast was Ejaz & Neelo & Talish (now Neelo & Shahid’s son Shaan is a famous actor; 2nd Gharnata, 3rd Laila Khalid and 4th film he was in the process that Israeli Mosad killed Riaz Shahid, so we have a great history & great love for Palestine.
