Wecamp is set to kick off the Wecamp Festival December 2022. The festival will take place at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad on the 10th and 11th of December 2022, from 12 pm to 10 pm.
The festival is being organized by atomcamp and wecamp in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). This 2-days festival is open for all citizen to show their support and love to the home-based women entrepreneurs of Pakistan, especially hailing from twin cities
Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has always been instrumental in facilitating, subsidizing and promoting our Women Entrepreneur or women-led businesses through various initiatives. It is very encouraging that TDAP has collaborated with Wecamp in providing a dedicated platform to the Women Entrepreneurs to show case their talent.
The festival will help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses and expand their market outreach. This year, special focus has been paid to reaching marginalised communities of women so they can expand their network by transcending the limits of traditional boundaries.
Over one hundred home-based women entrepreneurs will be setting up stalls displaying and selling their various handmade products, including but not limited to fashion and accessories, home décor, arts and crafts, organic skincare and traditional foods.
It is pertinent to mention here that TDAP would be supporting the Women Entrepreneurs through a dedicated organizational stall. Moreover, TDAP would be promoting the upcoming event “Her Hunar”, various training/workshops planned under its recent initiative of “Women Entrepreneurship Development Plan”, propeling Women Entrepreneurs towards a perfect blend of economic integration and inclusive development.
