A five-member Pakistani delegation led by Indus Water Commissioner Mehr Ali Shah will visit neighboring country on today for Pak-India water talks.
Talks will be held on May 30 and 31. The agenda of the talks includes a schedule of joint inspection of barrages while the talks will be held in New Delhi. Issues related to water sector will also be discussed. The issue of providing advance information on flood waters will be discussed.
The annual report of Indus Water Commissioners will be finalized in the talks, construction of dams by India will be discussed, Pakistani delegation will leave for India through Wagah border, the delegation will return to Pakistan on June 1.
Earlier, talks were held in Pakistan in March.
