Al Khobar KSA : Managing Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), Muhammad Afzaal Bhatti, has stated that individuals whose visas have been duly protected will not be offloaded from any airport in Pakistan. He reaffirmed that the OPF remains fully committed to safeguarding the rights of overseas Pakistanis and ensuring the provision of all possible facilities to them.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, which was attended by a large number of Pakistani community members, including men and women. Muhammad Afzal Bhatti said that Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif holds overseas Pakistanis in high regard, which is why the present government has established special courts to protect their rights.
He further informed that skilled development programmes have been launched for individuals travelling to the Middle East and other countries, enabling Pakistani professionals and skilled workers to better demonstrate their capabilities abroad.
During the event, a question-and-answer session was also held to discuss community-related issues, during which overseas Pakistanis shared their concerns and suggestions. On the occasion, Muhammad Afzal Bhatti and Ahsan-ul-Haq Bajwa paid tribute to Ahsanullah Bhatti for his notable services in resolving community issues, particularly in the field of education.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pakistan Investor Forum Chairman Rana Javed Aslam, President Rana Muhammad Ashraf, General Secretary Ehsan Ullah Bhatti, Senior Vice President Abdul Saboor Qureshi, and Vice Chairman Hafizullah stated that by resolving the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis and providing them with improved facilities, they can be made more active and effective in continuing their services for the country.
PML-N Saudi Arabia Patron-in-Chief Rana Muhammad Ashraf appreciated the services of the OPF. The speakers also lauded the contributions of business and social figures to the community and expressed their gratitude to the visiting government delegation.
