KARACHI : Vice Chancellor, Dow University, Professor Muhammad Saeed Quraishy said that the unity of the Pakistani people is a proof of their courage and determination to succeed. Our unity is unbreakable, even in hard times. Our unity is an example for other countries to follow. He shared these thoughts, while addressing a ceremony organized to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed forces at Muin Auditorium of Dow Medical College as a Chief Guest. Professor Saba Sohail, principal of Dow Medical College, also addressed the event.

Professor Mohammad Saeed Quraishy said that the unity of the Pakistani people is truly impressive, this sense of unity gives the people of Pakistan the energy that is enough to stay with them for years to come, and with this spirit we can solve our national problems. He said that the blood of those who sacrificed their lives for the country is a debt to us.
Speaking at the solidarity ceremony, Professor Saba Sohail, Principal of Dow Medical College, said that the day of solidarity with the armed forces is a day of renewed respect. The people of Pakistan and persons from all walks of life, are united. In 2020, the way we have come out of this difficult situation by uniting during the global epidemic Covid-19 is unprecedented. The people of Pakistan live in the world with dignity because of our invincible armed forces and the unity of the people with the armed forces.
Singer Ameer Ali, Ahad Khan and Maria Saud presented national songs at the Solidarity Day ceremony. Students supported the singers by waving green crescent flags and clapping their hands. During this time, the students raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. While Dr. Maryam Batool from the Dow Medical College sang a song without instruments, the audience clapped and applauded Dr. Maryam.
