Mirpurkhas:- A Universal Children’s Day was celebrated in the City with a large number of children of the Katchi Community of Ratanabad here today.A addressing the seminar on the occasion The Divisional Director of Information Hizbullah Memon Deputy Director of Social Welfare and Incharge Child Protection Unit Junaid Mirza Deputy Director of Information Ghous Muhammad Pathan Course coordinator Ms. Huma Incharge and Founder of Katchi Community Development Association (KCDA) Shamoon Samuel Liaison Officer Chandar Malhi, Finance Officer Ramji, Team Leader Tamachi and other highlighted the importance of UCD falling on November 19 every year throughout the country likewise in the city KCDA since last 5 years organized the day with children in collaboration of the Social Welfare Deptt and the Child Protection Unit successfully They also lauded the efforts of KCDA and the children of the educational project started since 2005 and 2012, Children imparted basic education and passed their Matric Exam with distinction Now they aregettngtheir education and skillful business earn their livelihood and contribute in the society with dignity and pride. The Speakers appreciated the efforts of teachers who imparted to illiterate children of less privileged communities and led them into the mainstream. They expressed their satisfaction over the success of the country and the nation lies in the success of children. Education is the basic right of every child. We all must play our roles in this regard. They Congratulated the KCDA on the successful completion of the five-year education project, and on the occasion informed that 15 schools were run under the 5-year project under the KCDA. More than 7 hundred children Received primary education from KCDA Mirpurkhas and 2 children receiving education from Tando Allahyar were admitted into Public School Hyderabad under the scholarship program and received primary school education under KCDA Mirpurkhas. After that, the children studying in middle and secondary schools were also informed about business, skills, employment, and grammar along with education. 5,000 cash was also given to the child studying in the seminar by Director Information Hizbullah Memon on his oustanding multiple skills. Children presented a tableau and successful case studies in the seminar.
