KARACHI ( 29 May 2023) United Business Group (UBG) Patron-in-Chief, Provincial Minister Trade & Industry, Punjab SM Tanveer Along with the Group’s Chairman Shahzad Ali Malik, President Zubair Tufail, Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, Chairman Sindh Region Khalid Tawab, Secretary General Sindh Region, Hanif Gohar, Aamir Atta Bajwa, Momin Ali Malik, Malik Sohail Hussain, Mumtaz Sheikh and others, Ghari Khuda Bakhsh performed Fatiha at the shrine of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and Nusrat Bhutto in Larkana.
Later, Patron in chief UBG SM Tanveer meet the businessmen of Sindh under the leadership of former Vice President FPCCI and former President Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mumtaz Ali Shaikh. Former Senior Vice President FPCCI, Former Chairman Abad Hanif Gohar, President Khairpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ms. Shabnam Zafar, Ahmed Chinoy, Engineer Daru Khan Achakzai, LCCI President Ahmed Ali Shaikh and others were also present on this occasion.
According to the statement issued by the central spokesman of UBG, Gulzar Firoz, Patron in chief UBG SM Tanveer stressed on unity and solidarity in the business community and said that we are uniting the business community of Pakistan, there is no doubt that in the current situation, the business of Pakistan The community is facing serious challenges, the economic situation of the country is bad due to political instability, the value of the Pakistani rupee has fallen to the lowest level in history, on the other hand, the increase in gas and electricity prices, the existing infrastructure and protection of the business community. Pakistan’s economy is standing on the verge of bankruptcy due to the situation like Nah Dina, but the present government is trying hard to deal with all these challenges.
SM Tanveer said that developed and developing countries give incentives to strengthen their business community because the business community is considered to be the guarantor of the development of the country’s economy and the prosperity of the nation.
told that UBG is playing an important role in increasing commercial activities in Sindh and we are continuing our efforts to address and solve the concerns of the business community to the relevant higher authorities. In the meeting, some leaders said that Pakistan’s business community is suffering from a severe crisis, which should be given tax relief in the upcoming budget to get out of this crisis.
