Karachi, November 21st, 2023: United Business Group (UBG) and
Businessmen Pannel (Progressive) allied to jointly contest the FPCCI
election 2024-25 and have announced their mutual candidates at a
dinner reception hosted in honor of senior leaders of UBG by Saqib
Fayaz Magoon, Adeel Siddiqui, Khurram Ashfaq, Sham Lal Manglani,
Rizwan Ahsan, Imran Hussain and Shabbir Hassan Mansha. UBG was
represented by Zubair Tufail, Zafar Bakhtawari, Khalid Tawab, Sheikh
Riazuddin, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Hanif Gohar, Momin Malik, Ali Hasam
Asghar, Amir Atta Bajwa Shahid Sarwana, Abdul Sami Khan, Arshad
Farooq, Tariq Haleem, Gulzar Feroz, Saleem Bykea, Ahmed, Chinoy,
Aziz Karim at this historic occasion. Both groups agreed that the
business community is faced with serious challenges that need to be
addressed. Both the groups have announced Atif Ikram Sheikh as their
Presidential and Saqib Fayyaz Magoon as their Senior Vice president,
and VPs candidates for the FPCCI 2024-25 elections. The business
community has welcomed the alliance.
BMP (Progressive) group informed that the ruling group has not worked
to resolve the issues of the business community rather has been busy in
self-projection, disappointing the business community. The businessmen
welcomed the alliance.
