KARACHI (11th Dec. 2023) Former Vice President of FPCCI and leader of Central Businessmen’s Forum Captain Abdul Rashid Abaro announced the investment of up to 25 billion dollars by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Pakistan to restore the country’s economy.
Captain Abdul Rashid Abarone said that UAE is undoubtedly Pakistan’s strongest friend and UAE has always supported Pakistan in Pakistan’s difficult situations and in the current situation, it is in Karachi to bring investment to Pakistan. The efforts of the appointed Consul General of UAE, Dr. Bakhit Atiq al-Rumithi, are appreciable and undoubtedly, Dr. Bakhit Atiq al-Rumithi has played the role of an excellent and authentic diplomat.
Captain Abaro said that with the investment of UAE in Pakistan, the businesses of Pakistan and UAE will come closer, the start of a big investment of 25 billion dollars will provide stability to the economy of Pakistan and the country’s exports will also accelerate.
Captain Abaro further said that it is an undeniable fact that numerous problems are arising due to climate change around the world, while Pakistan has suffered severe losses due to climate change. The announcement of the establishment of the dollar climate fund is also worthy of praise.
He said that the climate fund is intended to solve the problems of global climate change and encourage investment of 250 billion dollars by 2030.
Captain Abaro expressed happiness over the UAE’s offer to join the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and said that the inclusion of the UAE in the CPEC will further strengthen the project.
