Karachi,September 3, 2025 : U.S. Consul General Charles Goodman visited the Jinnah Mausoleum today to honor the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He laid a floral wreath at the Mausoleum and signed the guestbook on behalf of the American people.


“It is a great honor to pay my respects to Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a visionary leader whose commitment to unity and prosperity continues to inspire,” Goodman said.

This visit highlights the strong and lasting partnership between the United States and Pakistan, built on shared values and mutual respect.
Following the ceremony, Goodman toured the tombs of Liaquat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, and Fatima Jinnah, the Quaid’s sister.

He also visited the museum to learn more about Jinnah’s life, legacy, and vision for Pakistan. As Consul General, Goodman is focused on strengthening economic ties, expanding trade cooperation, and fostering mutual prosperity. He pledged to advance U.S. priorities that promote shared prosperity, security, and people-to-people connections between the two nations.

“I look forward to meeting key partners, engaging with local communities, and experiencing Pakistan’s renowned hospitality and cuisine,” Goodman said. “Together, we can build on our shared values and create opportunities that benefit both countries.”

The visit to Mazar-e-Quaid represents an important step in Goodman’s engagements with the people of Sindh and Balochistan, reaffirming the United States’ commitment to a strong and collaborative relationship with Pakistan.
