Pakistan beat Afghanistan by five wickets in their Twenty20 World Cup Super 12 match on Friday, registering their third win in three and comfortably-placed to reach the semi-finals.
The Green Shirts needed 24 runs in 12 balls and Asif Ali (25) did not let the team down, as he smacked four sixes to lead the team to victory. The batter bagged the Player of the Match award for his late blitz.
