Karachi Pakistan : Training Session on Electronic Certificate of Origin by TDAP on PSW, held on Tuesday, 13th August 2024 at FPCCI Head Office Karachi and via zoom link. TDAP is the sole authorized agency for issuing Certificates of Origins for exports to all destinations under all types of preferential trade arrangements (FTAs, PTAs, RTAs, GSPs, etc.). TDAP is going to start Electronic Certificates of Origin (E-COs) by mid-August 2024 and completely switch over to E-COs by end-September, 2024, discontinuing the issuance of manual COO for all export destinations, which will enable exporters to obtain the E-COs online from the TDAP and will facilitate to register for EU’s REX system and get their REX-registration data amended online. This is a significant step towards TDAP’s and PSW efforts to reduce the cost of doing business and improve ease of doing business for the exporters.
