Mr Malik stated that our industry must perform to keep moving the wheel of life in Pakistan. He acknowledged that ecnomic conditions are slowing down in many South Asian countries but countries like USA are also not saved from this wave however hard work and dedication is the answer to all these questions.Mr Malik stated that IMF conditions are though but we need to reprogram our industrial strategy meeting challenges.Mr Malik stated that it is the time for IMF now to coordinate with Pakistan. Pakistan a country of huge population is the 2nd largest after India in South Asian countries. SAARC is also the largest regional body in the world and doing no trade to reduce poverty in the region. SAARC can still play a vital role to bring all south Asian countries to gather for cooperation and investment. South Asian countries must pend their political agenda and reactivate SAARC to support humanity for a better life. Pakistan is getting a big purse of forex from overseas Pakistanis who are in love with Pakistan they must be treated as VVIPs. We may also give some bonus on foregin remittances to avoid the role of HUNDI AHWALA. Quick and timely service in remittances to overseas Pakistanis will increase the remittances. SBP must ensure the implementation of government business policies for business to import raw materials & required machinery. Bank must follow the rules and stop banking of their choice which is harming the real industry & exporter.IT has opened a new gate of opportunities for youth who can start their own business to become a large business houses. Indirect Direct Finance investment a new concept of earning forex must be promoted strongly . The trade deficit is not being controlled which is creating more problems to maintain the reserves of forex in SBP. The high taxtation proposed for luxury items means nothing for the rich and also a joke for the seller who knows this that his rich client will pay any price for his or her satisfaction. Complete ban on import of luxury items with strict sentences be ordered. Adhoc visit to luxury items sellers have not done any thing so far. These departmental stores must be closed at once. A rich group of people who are planning to get huge lands of million hectares on the basis of cultivation must be observed. We have to close all the bazars which is selling Pakistan.
