A Three day food festival was held at the ‘Killay Restaurant’ of the hotel Mehran.
During the festival, His Excellency Bakheet Ateeq Al-Romaithi, Acting Consul General, Consulate of the United Arab Emirates was the chief guest who also inaugurated the Bar-Be-Que Festival.

Speaking to media Counselor of UAE said that Pakistan and Dubai enjoy a very cordial relationship in various fields of interest and with each passing day our relations are further strengthening.

Giving his views on the festival arranged by Hotel Mehran, UAE’s Diplomat said that all the dishes were scrumptious in taste and he enjoyed a lot the heterogeneous mix of flavors in the food served.
He further appreciated the warm hospitality received from the entire management of Hotel Mehran in Karachi.

Moreover, Hotel’s General Manager Mr. Junaid Ashraf while speaking during the festival said that Hotel Mehran is continuously improving its facilities for the public as well as bringing innovations in its entire ambiance where different parties are arranged in the best way.
Ashraf also said that in the coming time we will surely arrange more festivals of such nature as Hotel Mehran truly believes in delivering the optimal level of services to its clients.
During the festival, His Excellency Mr. Toshikazu Isomura, Consul General, Consulate General of Japan, His Excellency G L Gnanatheva, Consul General, Consulate General of the Democratic, Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Thatree Chauvachata, Consul General, Thai Consulate were also present.

Consul General of Thailand, Thatree while speaking to the journalists congratulated GENERAL MANAGER Hotel Mehran for arranging a mesmerizing food festival and added that he really liked the new ambiance of the hotel.
He further said that during Ramzan Iftar-Dinner, he loved the taste of the hotel’s dish ‘Chicken Sajji’.
Responding to one question, the Thai Consul General praised the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan for making all possible efforts in boosting the tourism sector of the country and the foreign relations.
