KARACHI: Emphasizing the pivotal role of technical and vocational education in a country’s industrial and
economic advancement, KATI President Faraz-ur-Rehman underlined that women can significantly
contribute to national development alongside men. He made these remarks during his visit to the
Vocational Training Center for Women in Korangi, where he met with Chairman Junaid Naqi and other
distinguished attendees.
Faraz-ur-Rehman underscored the importance of equipping individuals with the necessary skills for
industrial institutions, particularly through technical vocational training centers. He stressed that the
preparation of a skilled workforce is of paramount significance, and these training centers play a crucial
role in meeting the demands of modern institutions.
Furthermore, he advocated for an ongoing dialogue between industrialists and technical training
institutes to ensure that the curriculum remains aligned with changing technology and industrial needs.

Junaid Naqi, Chairman of the Vocational Training Center for Women in Korangi, echoed the sentiment

Junaid Naqi emphasized the significance of providing full government support to the country’s youth, as

economic development in Pakistan.
