Karachi : On the occasion of the annual Islamic Book Fair in Karachi, the Urdu translation of the precious book of the supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution about the virtues of fasting and commandments regarding the holy month of Ramadan was unveiled by the efforts of the cultural center of the Islamic Republic of Iran Karachi. This book has been published in Urdu language under the title “In the Shadow of the Blessings of Ramadan”.
Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi Hassan Noorian and Director of the cultural center of the Islamic Republic of Iran Karachi Saeid Talebi Nia unveiled this book while visiting the book fair. It should be noted that this book fair is organized every year in the holy month of Ramadan by the Ibn-e-Zahra Institute inside Bhojani Hall in Soldier Bazar. A large number of people who are interested in books visit here to buy Islamic books of their choice.
In addition to the book lovers, a large number of media persons along with religious, social and literary figures participated in the launching ceremony of this important book of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Speaking on the occasion of this prestigious event, Dr. Talebi Nia said: The book “In the Shadow of the Blessings of Ramadan” by Leader of Islamic Revolution is actually a collection of his various speeches and statements related to the virtues of fasting and commandments regarding the holy month of Ramadan, which has been specially arranged for study during the month of Ramadan. Because of the intellectual and religious importance of the book, the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi decided in a very short period to publish it in Karachi before starting the holy month of Ramadan.
Syed Kosar Abbas Mousavi, head of research and translation department of the Cultural center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi has translated this book from Persian to Urdu language.
He added: This book includes the precious statements of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei regarding the virtues and blessings of the holy month of Ramadan along with the importance of Shab-e-Qadr, supplication and seeking forgiveness, besides commandments about the sighting of the crescent moon of Ramadan. He said: Cultural center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi requests book lovers, especially students, to read this book on the pages of Iran Culture Center Karachi on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
It should be noted that the Urdu translation of the 127-page book of the Supreme Leader under the title “In the Shadow of the Blessings of Ramadan” has been printed and published by Al-Irfan Publications with the request of Iran Culture Center Karachi.
