Poppa is getting married! But wait? Who is Poppa? A young, spirited guy, portrayed by Khushhal Khan, who seems to have his love life all figured out in Canada. However, a sudden phone call from his homeland sets off a whirlwind of chaos and delivers the biggest shock to his romantic plans. Initially just flying to Pakistan to attend his sister’s wedding, little does he know it is going to lead to his own arranged (read: forced) marriage.
His family is one grand, crazy, chaotic Punjabi family, but not your usual quirky Punjabi clan. They’re amping their antics up a notch, which we think is sure to leave us rolling with laughter and disbelief.
His Bride? She Is Unseen & Unknown!
Poppay’s wedding is in 4 years…he wishes! Scratch that, it’s in 4 weeks (much to Poppay’s disbelief). The bride? Unseen! His parents tell him straight up, he might be cuckoo to think he would be allowed to see her. Yep, he isn’t even allowed to see her, meet her, or catch a glimpse of a picture. That alone leaves us curious and anticipating. Khushhal and Nazish’s never-before-seen chemistry also piques our interest to watch the duo and it will be interesting to see how audiences will react to seeing them together on the silver screen. They are both spirited and feisty, but while Khushhal as Poppay is determined to resist his family’s decision, Nazish’s character believes parents really do know best. One thing’s for sure, they’re taking us on a rollercoaster ride.
