KARACHI – The Trade Commissioner of MATRADE visited Karachi recently during which the Pakistan-Malaysia Friendship Association (PMFA) arranged a reception in his honor where a select gathering of businessmen was invited most of whom are engaged in trading and investment with Malaysia.
Speaking on the occasion, the Trade Commissioner highlighted the present status of the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia and said that the volume of bilateral trade is enhancing gradually. While sharing MATRADE’s plan for next year, he said that more areas for trading and investment with Pakistan would be explored. Mr. Shahid Jawed Qureshi, President PMFA appreciated the efforts of the Trade Commissioner and hoped that the two-way trade would get a boost in the coming days as after the COVID-19 pandemic the trade is showing an increasing trend. He identified several sectors in which Malaysia can invest and also import from Pakistan. He also apprised about the activities of the PMFA including the launching of the PMFA Newsletter and PMFA Awards Ceremony.
Shahid Jawed Qureshi presented PMFA memento to Mr. Mohd. Feisal Ezuan, Trade Commissioner of Malaysia. On this occasion Mr. Mohd Husaini, Acting Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Suzaini, Immigration Head, Mr. Johari Minal, County Head MPOB, Dy. Trade Commissioner of Malaysia, Mr. Siddique Misri, Mr. Muhammad Siddique Sheikh, Mr. Arshad Islam, Mr. Dossani, Mr.Mushtaq Wali Mohd., Mr. Serjil Goplani, Mr. Masood Ahmed, Mr. Mohammad Fawad Sheikh, Mr.Moiz, Mr. Rafiq Jaffrani, Mr. Shahzad sabir is present.
