Karachi: Chief Guest former Ambassador to the United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon and Guest of Honour Noorjehan Bilgrami – curator of the Pakistan Pavillon at the Dubai Expo – headline the power-packed 30th LADIESFUND Power Lunch. It was an outdoors affair.
This dynamic must-attend networking session featured 30 incredible women leaders – including Shanaz Wazir Ali (former MNA and current President SZABIST), Charmaine Hiyatullah (honorary Consul General to Monaco and President of APWA), the Niilufer Farrukh (founder, Karachi Biennelle), Faiza Samee (fashion designer), Zeenat Saeed Ahmed (Founder, Taneez), Ammara Maqsood (CEO, NdcTech), Bebo Haider (Pakistan’s first transgender beautician), Angaleen Angarwalla (15 year old classical dancer), Zareen Qureshi (Executive Director, Charter for Compassion), at al. – as well as 10 incredible men including sculptor Amin Gulgee, designer Deepak Perwani, President of NAPA Junaid Zuberi, and British Deputy Head of Mission Martin Dawson.
The lunch also featured a very insightful talk by Special Guest Architect Syed Akeel Bilgrami on the Mohatta Palace Museum, shedding much light on this important community space.
