Karachi: Pakistani Nation has rich Islamic values this was stated by the Consul General of the Royal Thailand Mr Narut Soontarodon, he was talking with senior journalists at the Iftar Dinner hosted by Thai Airways in honor of top travel agents at a local five star hotel. Iftar Dinner was attended by Mr. Panutat Yodkaew, Visa Consular, Mr. Arif Suleman, President Pak-Thai Friendship Association, Mobin Ansari, Asim Suleman, and prominent personalities from Aviation Industries.
Thai envoy wishes Pakistani’s and Muslims around the Global Ramadan Kareem and said that it’s my first experience to celebrates Ramadan in Pakistan and feel happy having Iftar with my Pakistani friends. Thai diplomats said that we like local meals very much. On reply to a question Thai CG said that we have 5% Muslims in Thailand of total population and they all rights to perform their religious activities. Thailand is most favourite’s destination for Pakistani travellers. In 2023, Bangkok was declared top visited destination in the World. Rashid, said Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Chang Mai etc are most visited cities for Pakistanis. From April 2024 Thai Airways will increased one more flight from Lahore Total Six flights in a week. We have plan to have 7 each flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad he added. In the end Thai Consul General presented gifts to by lucky draw.
