Karachi 01, March 2022: After a successful flight operation from Lahore, Thai Airways International is pleased to announce the resumption of two weekly flight operations to and from Karachi & Islamabad effective 22 March 2022.
Following the resumption, the airline will operate 2 weekly flights to and from 3 airports in Pakistan, serving more cities in Pakistan than any other full-service global airline.
Thai Airways for Karachi (Tuesday, and Friday) flight TG341 will depart from Bangkok Airport at 19:35, arriving at 22:35 into Jinnah International Airport. Thai Airways flight TG342, will depart from Jinnah International Airport at 23:50, and arrive at 0640+1 into Bangkok Airport.
Thai Airways for Islamabad (Monday, and Friday) flight TG349 will depart from Bangkok Airport at 19:00, arriving at 22:10 into Islamabad International Airport. Thai Airways flight TG350, will depart from Islamabad International Airport at 23:20, and arrive at 0625+1 into Bangkok Airport.
It had suspended the flight operations on restrictions of Covid-19. The airline started its operations in Pakistan back in 1994 with its first flight landing in Lahore, which was received by the then Governor of Pakistan Chaudhry Altaf Hussain.
Thailand Pass registration is mandatory for travelling to Thailand. Insurance with minimum coverage of 20,000 USD for medical expenses of each passenger is mandatory to travel to Thailand or Transiting to other networks. Passengers holding any VISA type for Thailand must have a return ticket. Passenger must hold Negative RT-PCR 48hrs before of THAI designated labs only.
