Karachi : On 06-09-2024 : TDAP, A&F organised a webinar on “Good Agricultural Practices for cultivation of Sesame Seeds and it’s export” for Sahiwal Div considering 5 lac tons production and opportunity to tap Chinese and other markets. During the event, DG(A&F), TDAP & representatives from Agriculture department, Punjab, Oil Seeds Research Institute, Department of Plant Protection apprised the farmers, traders and exporters on sowing, production, management of crop during heatwaves & Rainfalls, storage, transportation and registration for export etc.
The relevant departments appreciated the efforts of TDAP to make Sesame a commercial crop and stressed on farmers to grow it in a sustainable and professional manner.
