Taylor Swift Wedding Dress details have finally been confirmed after weeks of speculation, with the singer choosing a custom Dior creation designed by Jonathan Anderson for her wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.

A representative for Swift confirmed that Anderson, the creative director of Dior, designed the bridal gown. The announcement ended widespread speculation over which luxury fashion house created one of the year’s most anticipated wedding dresses.

Although Dior confirmed the designer, no official photographs of the gown have been released.

The commission marks a major milestone for Anderson, who joined Dior last year to lead the French fashion house’s creative direction. Fashion industry experts view the project as one of his most high-profile assignments to date.

The custom gown also represents Anderson’s first couture wedding dress designed for a world-famous celebrity, according to Swift’s representative.

Industry observers believe the choice strengthens Dior’s position in luxury bridal fashion. It also rewards Dior Chief Executive Delphine Arnault, who played a key role in bringing Anderson to the brand.

Swift’s decision surprised many fashion watchers. Several expected her to wear Ralph Lauren because of the brand’s American heritage and its connection to the couple’s engagement photographs. Others predicted Schiaparelli or Vivienne Westwood, citing Swift’s previous red-carpet appearances in their designs.

However, Dior remained largely absent from most public predictions before the official confirmation.

Interestingly, this is the first time Swift has publicly chosen a design created by Anderson for Dior. Previously, she wore a Dior outfit designed by Anderson’s predecessor, Maria Grazia Chiuri, at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. More recently, she has also carried several Dior handbags.

The statement also noted that Anderson has created couture wedding dresses for private clients in the past. However, Swift’s gown marks his first bridal design for a celebrity of global stature.

Earlier this year, Anderson concluded his debut Dior couture show with a dramatic bridal look featuring hundreds of translucent petals. Many fashion critics now view that runway finale as an early glimpse of his vision for modern couture bridalwear.

Fashion experts expect Swift’s wedding gown to influence bridal trends worldwide once official images become available. Given the singer’s global influence, designers anticipate strong demand for dresses inspired by her Dior creation.
