This moment of recognition came after the thrilling elimination clash between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi, the last semi-final of HBL PSL Season 9 before the ultimate decider set to be played on Monday in Karachi.

This match, between Peshawar Zalmi, the 2017 Champions, and Islamabad United, two-time PSL Champions in 2016 and 2018, was a true clash of titans. Islamabad United’s journey to victory was remarkable, as they clinched a thrilling win over Peshawar Zalmi, securing their spot in the league’s final.
Islamabad United’s victory kept the crowd on their feet. Facing an imposing target set by Peshawar Zalmi, United’s innings began tipsy-turvy, but it was their resolve that defined the game.
