SWEDEN : A Swedish man has set a Guinness World Record by sticking 81 matchsticks in both nostrils. Martin Stroby, 42, told Guinness World Records that his children were very excited to read the latest issue of Guinness World Records and asked them if they could also set their own record. Martin said that at first he thought he wasn’t good enough at anything to be called the best in the world, but when his children showed him various world records, he started thinking that maybe he too could succeed in finding a record, so he started searching. Eventually, he came across a record of sticking 68 matchsticks in his nostrils. He said that during the preparation, he discovered that he could stretch his nostrils and ignore the pain. He said that he tried hard to find a good technique and finally found a technique that kept the oil from falling out of his nose.
