Shahzada Dawood‘s family, who were among the tourists on the submarine that went to see the wreck of the Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean, also confirmed the death of their loved ones.
Hussain and Kulsum Dawood family expressed their grief over the death of Shahzada Dawood and Suleman Dawood and said that our beloved children were on the Titan submarine of OceanGate which sank under the sea.
The statement said that the funeral rites of Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood will be informed soon.
The statement added, “We are truly grateful to all those involved in the rescue operations. Their untiring efforts were a source of strength for us during this time. We are also indebted to our friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers from all over the world who have stood by us during our hour of need. The immense love and support we receive continues to help us to endure this unimaginable loss.”
Further, “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the other passengers on the Titan submersible. At this time, we are unable to receive calls and request that support, condolences, and prayers be messaged instead. Details of their final rites in this world will be announced soon.”
Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan has expressed regret over the death of Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood.
Dawood’s family members were present at the rescue site.
According to media reports, Shahzada Dawood’s wife and daughter, who are members of the Dawood family, were present at the rescue site.
On this occasion, Shahzada Dawood’s elder sister Azam Dawood revealed that her nephew Suleman was afraid of the trip to see the remains of the Titanic, he only took part in this risky journey to make his father happy on Father’s Day.
Suleman Dawood was a student at the University of Scotland, his sudden death has left the university teachers and students also depressed.
