Knowledge is the treasure that no one can take away, a special talk by the Principal of Discovery Centre (IGCSE) School Beaconhouse in Clifton on the occasion of the culmination day at Discovery Centre Clifton.
Discovery Centre (IGCSE) School Beaconhouse in Clifton Principal Hufsa Awan has said that students should come forward in education as well as in other fields. Students who make projects in our school are also given marks for their initiatives.
Principal Hufsa Awan has said that the project’s culmination day is celebrated every year. She said this while talking to The AZB at the event held on the occasion of the culmination day at Discovery Centre (IGCSE) School Beaconhouse in Clifton.




The event was attended by Actress Sarwat Gilani, Section Head Asma Aamir, Director NK Corporation Farzana Khan, Director City Associates Shama Chaudhry, parents, teachers, and staff members. Various projects were put up by the students which were a reflection of their learning and academic performance.
In the ceremony, students discussed various topics, and dramas were also presented. Students present at the event spoke on the importance of conservation of water, sustainable energy, women’s rights, forced labor, and various other topics.




Principal Hufsa Awan, said that the hard work done by the children shows their understanding of the various themes taught in their classrooms. She said 550 students of different classes are studying in this school where they teach through Project Based learning.

She said that knowledge is a treasure that no one can take away, and as educationists, they do their best to not only give better education to the students but also teach them skills that will help students lead better life in the future.
Principal Hufsa Awan thanked the parents, teachers, and staff for participating in the event.
Speaking on occasion, Sarwat Gilani said that the children had discussed very important topics and that they should be encouraged to connect their theoretical knowledge to their practical life as well.




She also said that all schools should host such functions so that projects made by children can be highlighted.
Further, she said that in the future, students can bring positive change to society. She also stressed upon the importance of students attending school regularly, as classroom experiences add value to a child’s education. She also said that we have to prepare our children for the challenges of the future.
