KARACHI: A press conference was organized by Shahid Mehmood Qureshi Realtors Training and Development Institute at a local hotel on the occasion the media was briefed on the details, Chairman Housing Construction and Real Estate Committee for Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Asif Sam Sam, Patron in chief Federation of Realtors Pakistan Nasir Javed, President (MDARA) and Senior Vice President were present on the occasion. President Federation of Realtors Pakistan Kashif Shah, President all Karachi Realtors Association Muhammad Rahman, President Dafclaria Zubair Baig, and CEO California Real Estate & Builders Bilal Talib while talking about SMQ said that SMQ was set up keeping in view the rising unemployment in Pakistan. A five-month diploma will be offered in SMQ. In this regard, classes will start from January 1. It will not be a traditional diploma but it will be a means of providing employment to the youth.
The number of candidates for the course is high. Due to this, diploma classes will be taken at two places in the city, coming from within Sindh accommodation for students has been arranged in Bahria Town. The purpose of SMQ is not to earn money but to create employment opportunities for the youth. We are deeply saddened by the recent suicide incident at Lucky One Mall. Dear person, no one should take his own life because of lack of employment, SMQ will not give diploma, after diploma will also provide employment, for this our MoU has been signed, young people who have graduated from SMQ Shahid Mehmood Qureshi’s vision is to take real estate work to the heights to which this sector is entitled the world has now changed, innovation is taking place in every field, every profession is taking the form of art, we have to keep pace with the developed world, so we also have to create modern professionals. Now a new chapter of real estate is about to open in this country. The credit for all these efforts goes to Shahid Mehmood Qureshi who first did it himself or what is the difference between those who work in real estate and those who are professional and non-professional.
