The flood victims of Khairpurnathan Shah staged a dharna after protesting in front of the DC House in the district headquarters. Due to this, the foul-smelling water of the flood in the city could not be discharged and neither food and other relief materials have been provided to the victims.
On the other hand, deaths due to malaria and gastro-intestinal diseases continue after the flood. Ramzan son of Pansand Chandio, a flood-affected villager at FP dam in Khairpurnathan Shah Union Council, Faridabad, died due to high fever and gastroenteritis, while Aamir Chandio, a resident of Qain Shah Mahalle in Khairpurnathan Shah, and Gul Muhammad Lander of village Gul Muhammad Lander died. A fifty-five-year-old villager living at the place, Mir Mohammad Lander, succumbed to gastroenteritis and lost his life.
