South Africa’s winner, England’s first defeat in the event England, unbeaten in the Men’s T20 World Cup, suffered their first defeat in the event, with South Africa out of the event beating England by 10 runs.

In this match played at Sharjah Cricket Ground, England won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Batting first, South Africa gave England a target of 190 runs to win, after which the English team could score only 179 runs.

According to the statistics, South Africa had to stop England at 131 or less to reach the semi-finals, but they failed to do so, with which England, as well as Australia, qualified for the semi-finals. ?

In the match, South Africa batted carefully in the allotted 20 overs in the first innings and scored 189 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.

After the early dismissal of opener Reza Hendricks, Quentin de Kock formed a 71-run partnership with Rope Vander Dawson, after which De Kock was dismissed for 34 off 86 balls.

Vander Dawson and Aiden Markram then put on an unbeaten 103-run partnership to take the team to 189 runs.

Adil Rashid took one wicket and Moin Ali took one wicket for England while no other bowlers could perform well.

In pursuit of the target, England’s batting line was seen to be smooth, where the players scored runs but they also kept losing wickets.

England needed 14 runs in the last over to win, so Kagisu Rabada completed his hat trick on the first three balls to break England’s consecutive victories.

Moin Ali (37) and David Milan (33) were the standouts for England, while Kagisu Rabada (3), Tabriz Shamsi (2) and Divine Pretorian (2) took two wickets each for South Africa.

Russia’s Vander Dawson was declared the man of the match for his unbeaten 94-run innings.

It is noteworthy that this is South Africa’s first victory after five consecutive defeats in the T20 against England.
