Karachi: On the occasion of Pakistan Defense Day, Under 14 (Junior and Cadet) Girls & Boys Karate Championship organized by Shinboku Shotokan Karate Academy and supervised by Shinboku Association of Karate-Do Pakistan concluded successfully at Landhi Garden Sports Complex Karachi. Muhammad Arshad, who has a special interest in sports, was the chief guest of the championship.
Arzam Khan won the 1st position, Fawaz Ahmed Khan won the 2nd position and Shah Fahad won the 3rd position in the Karate “Kata” competitions. Whike in Kumite (sparring) girls competitions, Angel got 1st, Noor Fatima 2nd and Inshal Kashan got 3rd position and in junior boys sparring competitions Aban Khan got 1st, Absham Arif got 2nd and Saad got 3rd position.
Academy black belts Wize Siddiqui, Shahmeer Hussain, Astishna Daniel and Inshal Hussain acted as referee judges during the championship.At the end of the championship, the chief guest Muhammad Arshad awarded medals and certificates to the successful players.
Shinboku Association and Academy Chief Instructor Shihan Shahzad Ahmed thanked the Chief Guest Muhammad Arshad for his arrival and appreciated the performance of all the participating players and referee judges of the championship and congratulated the position holders.
