KARACHI: Atif Ikram Sheikh, the President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and
Industry (FPCCI), has officially appointed Sheikh Umer Rehan as Special Assistant for a two-year term.
The appointment was announced through a notification issued by President Atif Ikram Sheikh.
Sheikh Umer Rehan, a former President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) and
Former Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA), received this
recognition for his outstanding service to the industry and his dedicated efforts to address the
challenges faced by industrialists.
Expressing his gratitude, Sheikh Umer Rehan assured President FPCCI of his full commitment and
pledged to utilize the platform of FPCCI to identify and address the issues confronting industrialists
nationwide. He emphasized his dedication to resolving these problems promptly, utilizing all available
resources.
During his tenure as President of KATI, Sheikh Umer Rehan earned a reputation for effectively conveying
the concerns of industrialists to the government and higher authorities. This track record has garnered
him esteem within the business community, and his appointment as Special Assistant reflects the
