The principal referred to a letter from the Pakistan Bar Council stating that he gave admission to 150 students, but the Karachi University is only allowing 100 students to appear in the examination.

The lawyer of Karachi University had sought time from the court for preparation, saying they do not accept the claim of the law college about admission of extra 50 students.

The honorable court expressing displeasure had said that this is the matter of the future of students. The Karachi University has orphaned the colleges. It said uphold of law is necessary. The issues should be restored as per law.

The PDP lawyer Khurram Lakhani told the court that the students have already paid admission; enrollment and examination fees and they are attending classes since 2022. He said the university and the law college should settle their differences but the future of the students should not be affected.

However, today the court allowed these students to sit in the exam and asked the Karachi University to accept their enrollments and do the needful.
