CHITRAL: Ayun cylinder blast victims seven people died at Peshawar hospital.
With the passing of another woman, the death toll from the Ayun gas cylinder blast/fire reached seven on Saturday.
Wife of Shakir Ullah passed away at a Peshawar hospital on Saturday and now the lone survival, Manzoor Ahmed, is hospitalized there.
The eight members of the family were burnt in their house on Sept 30. Due to a lack of facilities, the victims were shifted to Peshawar on Oct 3 from the DHQ hospital Chitral.
These 8 injured had been carried to DHQ hospital Chitral but Burn Trauma reconstructive plastic surgery center of DHQ hospital not functioning and these patients were referred to Burn and Plastic Surgery unit Hayatabad Peshawar. 7 of 8 victims died among these injured persons.
Social and political circle of Chitral demanded from the provincial government to fulfill 92 posts at Burn Center DHQ Hospital Chitral so as to overcome fire injured and victims patients in the future and they may not refer to Peshawar.
