Gujranwala: Secretary General Pakistan Federation Baseball Syed Fakhar Ali Shah visited Baseball Academy Gujranwala in order to further promote the game of baseball which is rapidly gaining popularity across the country. Along with national players Umair Imdad Bhatti and Kashif Shirazi, he met national player Muhammad Atif in charge of the academy.
While explaining the details to the Media Manager of the Federation, Pervez Shaikh Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said that, “I am happy to see the development of baseball in this region as well. We are hoping for encouraging results after seeing the correct use of the baseball equipment provided by us last year and the passion and dedication of the coaches”.
He thanked former national player Muhammad Atif for running this academy with such dedication and passion. The progress made by the young players here is really admirable and we are really happy to see it because the seed of baseball in Pakistan was planted in this city by our benefactor and founder late Syed Khawar Shah and now it is in its fourth decade and the efforts made by Pakistan Federation Baseball for the development of baseball in Pakistan are beginning to bear positive results.
Syed Fakhar Ali Shah appreciated all the coaches including Atif for their commitment and commitment to nurture the next generation of baseball players and together pave the way for the future of baseball in Pakistan and assure them of their full cooperation.
