Saudia : Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has achieved a significant milestone, ranking first globally in departure on-time performance (OTP) with a punctuality rate of 88.82%, as per a report by the independent aviation tracking site Cirium. Additionally, Saudia secured second place globally in arrival OTP with a rate of 86.35%. This recognition comes after successfully operating 192,560 flights over the past year, covering a network of over 100 destinations across four continents.
This achievement is particularly relevant to travelers in Pakistan, a key market for Saudia. The airline operates regular flights connecting major Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Multan, to Saudi Arabia. These connections are crucial for Pakistani travelers, especially for pilgrims undertaking Hajj and Umrah, as well as for those traveling for business and leisure purposes.
His Excellency Engr. In 2024, Saudia ranked first in On-Time Performance three times during the months of June, July, and November. Currently, Saudia operates over 530 daily flights, connecting more than 100 destinations across four continents to the Kingdom with a modern fleet of 144 aircraft.
