ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy called on Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser in Islamabad on Friday.
They discussed matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker National Assembly said the bilateral relations between the two countries will be further strengthened by activating the Pak-Saudi Friendship Group.
He said Pakistan feels proud over its time-tested and people to people relations with Saudi Arabia which has always stood with Pakistan at every critical juncture.
The speaker said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia and the great hospitality accorded to him by the Saudi leadership has further cemented the existing ties between the two countries.
Expressing his views, the Saudi envoy said Pak-Saudi relations are of unique nature as Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have special love and affection for Pakistan.
He said parliamentary and government level exchanges would help further promote bilateral understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
