Saira Malik, a Pakistani-American, has been appointed Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Nuveen, a global asset management agency.
According to Saira Malik’s LinkedIn profile, she oversees the market and investment as Nuveen’s chief investment officer and leader of the firm’s global investment committee.
Saira offers a variety of client asset allocation ideas and brings together the firm’s most senior investors to invest in fixed income, real estate, private markets, and natural resources.
Saira also heads the Global Investment Committee (GIC), which brings together Nuveen’s most senior investors to provide the company with the best thinking and workable portfolio allocation ideas for clients.
Saira also heads Nuveen’s Equities Investment Council and is a portfolio manager for a number of key strategies.
Saira also writes articles for Nuveen’s weekly magazine and regularly presents her analysis on financial news networks such as CNBS, Bloomberg TV and Fox Business.
Saira also has the honor of being included in Baron’s Top 100 Influential Women in US Finance.
Prior to her appointment at Nuveen, Saira JP was a Portfolio Manager and Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Asset Management.
He holds a BS in Economics from the Polytechnic State University of California and an MS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin.
According to Saira Malik, her parents emigrated from Pakistan to the United States, she was raised in Stockton, California, and attended Lincoln High School.
According to Saira, as a senior in high school, I was advised by a career counselor to leave university and go to community college.
