Jamshoro : The new academic year at Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS)
University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro started with zeals. An orientation and welcome
ceremony was held in honour of new batch 2024-25 on its arrival in the campus.
Addressing the orientation ceremony Vice-chancellor SABS Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto said that
higher educational institutes provide the platform to youngsters for exploring their hidden talent and
SABS is a unique type of institute where students are giving opportunities to prove themselves in
academia and extracurricular activities. She said that SABS is a family where every section of
administration and academia is working hard to facilitate the students. Dr. Bhutto said that SABS
aims to promote peace, prosperity and positivity in the society and we wish our students become
good human beings and contribute in the society.
Chairpersons of various departments and faculty members Fazal Ellahi Khan, Shazia Abro,
Rajkumar, Muhammad Saleem Jhatial, Hina Marvi Khilji, Zubair Ahmed Bhutto, Administrative
staff Zulqarnain Bhutto and others addressed the ceremony.
The students were taken to their respective departments where they were given briefing regarding
staff, studios, subjects, class rooms and different sections.
