JAMSHORO – Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro in collaboration with Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has launched “Clean and Green Hyderabad City” campign uder the slogan of “Save Nature Save Life”. SABSU and HDA signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for beautification of Hyderabad city. Vice-chancellor SABSU Prof. Dr. Bhai Khan Shar and Director General of HDA Ghulam Muhammad Qaimkhani agreed to take initiative for beautification of Hyderabad and provide manpower and technical support for the project. According to agreement a delegation of students from SABSU led by faculty member Sarah Hafeez Abro will paint different important walls in the city in first phase, whereas in next phase landscaping, establishment of monuments and pigeon houses will take place.
Fifteen students delegation from SABSU led by Hoor-e-Laiba has started painting a 400 feet wide wall of Sui Gas office whereas the walls of Zubaida College and Comprehensive boys school Latifabad will be painted in later stage. The students start painting from 9pm to 2 am daily under full proof security of police. The idea behind their art work is to educate people through visulas, public service messages and aware them regarding nature, beautification of city and life.
