SABS UNIVERSITY OF ART JAMSHORO RECONSTITUTE BODIES OF
DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES, EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND ANNUAL
EXHIBITIONS TO TAKE PLACE SOON
Jamshoro: Different bodies have been reconstituted at Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro
(SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro to strengthen and functionalize the
extracurricular activities at Campus. A high level meeting of Chairmen and sectional heads was held under
the supervision of Vice-chancellor SABS Prof. Dr. Bhai Khan Shar in committee room of the University.
Shahid Qayoom Memon, lecturer was appointed in charge extracurricular activities onwards whereas the
earlier the charge was held by Lecturer Manzoor Ali Solangi. Muhammad Zaman Bhutto, lecturer was
appointed convener of Students Affairs Committee and Sanam Bhutto, assistant professor as member
whereas the charge was previously held by PRO Abdul Latif Gaad. Assistant Professor Fazal Ellahi Khan
was appointed annual thesis coordinator whereas Amjad Ali Talpur, lecturer as coordinator fine art and other
HoDs were directed to nominate their representatives. As the tenure of employees welfare fund committee
was completed a new committee was formed in which assistant professor Shazia Abro was nominated as
convener whereas lecturers Muhammad Saleem Jhatial, Raj Kumar Maheshwari and Superintendents Ali
Muhammad Memon and Tarique Ali Manganhar as it’s members. For cleanliness of the campus assistant
professor Nusrat Raza Mangi was nominated as convener whereas assistant professors Fazal Ellahi Khan,
Hina Marvi Khilji, lecturers Muhammad Saleem Jhatial, warden girls hostel Mehnaz Soomro and accountant
Muneer Ahmed Khatian as members. To organize sports activities a committee was formed in which
assistant professor Syed Ali Abbas Jaffri was made convener and assistant professor Hina Marvi Khilji,
lecturer Muhammad Zaman Bhutto and Sr. I. T assistant Arshad Ali Qureshi as it’s members.
