Karachi, Pakistan – On September 6, the Majmua The Art gallery hosted an art talk and exhibition attended by a Russian delegation, including Ruslan M. Prokhorov, Director of the Russian House. The event began with an opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting by Prokhorov, followed by a speech from Dr. Natalia, who highlighted scholarship opportunities in Russia for Pakistani students interested in Russian art and education.
Roman Porozov also addressed the attendees, discussing Russian art and praising the talent of Pakistani newcomers who exhibited their work.
The event, organized by Miss Meherin Ilahi, Razia Sheikh, and Shahid Khatri, attracted over 35 students and art enthusiasts. Curators Ali Shah, Tarik Tonki, Tayyaba Asif, and Fariha Aqib played key roles in showcasing the art.
The evening focused on fostering cultural understanding and cooperation between Russia and Pakistan, providing a platform for emerging Pakistani artists to display their work and engage in cultural exchange.
